Requirements for Admission
Admission to ATSU-School of Health Management master degree programs is based on the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Applicants who have graduated from a university outside the United States must provide a degree equivalency evaluation for admissions.
- Completed admissions application
- Official transcript from degree granting institution
- Non-refundable application fee submitted with application
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 (4.0 scale)
- Access SHM courses with a PC (Apple, Unix, etc are not supported) regardless of time, place or location.
- Access SHM courses with Windows XP or higher operating system regardless of time, place or location.
- Access SHM courses with Internet Explorer 6.0 browser or above, regardless of time, place or location.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
- Access SHM courses with a high speed internet connection such as DSL or Cable regardless of time, place or location
- Adobe Reader (free download from www.adobe.com)
- Completion of SHM 101 - SHM New Student Orientation with a score of 80% or higher
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for applicants when English is a second language. The Computer Based Test (CBT), Internet Based Test (iBT) or the Paper Based Test (PBT) will be accepted. The following are the minimum required score based on test type:
- CBT - minimum total score of 213
- iBT - minimum total score of 80
- PBT - minimum total score of 550
