The Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Symposium (IBRS) gives students, residents, faculty, and regional researchers the opportunity to present their current research activities and promotes collaboration with the Institute. In honor of the 5th anniversary of the IBRS, the keynote address will be open to the general public and will focus on an important emerging area in healthcare. Keynote speakers from Washington University and Michigan State University will highlight perspectives on genetic testing and interventions from the viewpoints of the patient, family, career genomic researcher, and physician specialist in genetics.
