INDIAN HEALTH CAREER AWARD

 

*      Application Deadline:  July 15, 2006 fall semester; Novemebr 15, 2006 spring semester

*      Description:  Available to American Indian Students

*      Major:  Health Career

*      Minimum GPA:  not stated

*      Enrollment Criteria:  Full time, part-time, 6 – 12 credit hours

*      Amount Awarded: up to $700

*      Requirements:  The student applying must be in the program for their health career or health related field of study.  Applicant must be American Indian or Alaskan Native with documentation of Tribal enrollment.  First priority are to American Indians from/ or residing in Arizona.  Applicant with a firm commitment to completing studies for a health career must be enrolled and accepted in an institution of higher learning.  Applicant is required to complete and IHCA Award application.  Applicant will be judged on the basis of merit, ambition, perseverance, reliability and established need.
