This approximately 10-minute videotape includes various film clips of early osteopathic history. Segments include actual footage of Dr. A.T. Still, the "Old Doctor," demonstrating osteopathic techniques on a patient (1914), early usage of the x-ray machine, a football game between the American School of Osteopathy and Illinois, and 12 other short clips relating to early osteopathy. This video also contains a walking tour of the Still National Osteopathic Museum housed on the campus of the A.T. Still University (KCOM). Finding Aid for the Still Hildreth Collection: Documents, photographs, printed material, and artifacts from the Still-Hildreth Osteopathic Sanatorium, a private mental institution which operated in Macon, Missouri, from 1914 to 1968 (from 1965 under the auspices of KCOS).  The bulk of the materials consist of exterior photos and public information materials.

 

Finding Aid for the Still Hildreth Records: 2,256 individual coded (HIPPA) patient records from the Still-Hildreth Osteopathic Sanatorium in Macon, Missouri, the first osteopathic psychiatric treatment facility.
