Schedule of events

Thursday, October 9

1 - 4 p.m.
Welcome Reception and Reunion Registration in Heritage Hall, Tinning Education Center (TEC).

1:30 p.m.
Guided Campus Tours (Including the new Connell Information Technology Center).

3:00 p.m.
Community Tour. Enjoy a bus tour of the Kirksville community and see the growth and new construction on and off campus.

4:10 p.m.
A.T. Still Memorial Celebration at the A.T. Still Gravesite

6 p.m.
Reunion Reception and Dinner. All alumni and guests are invited to celebrate in this all-class event, being held at Thousand Hills Dining Lodge overlooking Forest Lake.

Friday, October 10

8:30 a.m.
ATSU Admissions Seminar., Student and Alumni Services Conference Room, TEC. Learn about the graduate programs ATSU has to offer.

9:30 a.m.
Group photos of anniversary class members and spouses. Complimentary copies will be sent to each participating class member. Photos will begin after the Admissions Seminar in Heritage Hall, TEC.

10 a.m.
State of the University Address, McCreight Classroom, TEC; Jack Magruder, Ed.D., ATSU President, Philip C. Slocum, D.O., FCCP, FACOI, FCCM, ’76, Dean, KCOM, and Jon Persavich, Ph.D., Dean, SHM.

10:30 a.m.
Gold Medallion and Alumni Recognition Ceremony, McCreight Classroom, TEC. Each member of the 50th anniversary class of 1958 in attendance will be recognized and will receive their Gold Medallion. Members in the President’s Gold Medallion Club and the classes of 1963, 1968, and 1983 will also be recognized at this time.

11:30 a.m.
Alumni/CME Luncheon, Centennial Commons, TEC.

1 p.m.
Tour the Museum’s Research and Collection Area. Still National Osteopathic Museum, TEC.

3 p.m.
Still-A-Bration, ATSU Campus : Join the ATSU-KCOM family for fun, food and festivities! Afternoon activities include games for the entire family. Evening activities include a barbecue, music, and dancing.

Saturday, October 11, 2008

10 a.m.
Founder’s Day 5-mile/5k runs and 1-mile walk. For more information or to register, contact Dan Martin or Lynda Crossgrove at the Thompson Campus Center, 660.626.2213.
