Why KCOM?

We asked our students why they like KCOM.  Here is what they have to say about . . .

Local Attractions and Day Trips

Andrew GoughI like going to St. Louis.  It has lots of free stuff to do.  Zoo, science museum plus tons of shopping and restaurants.
–Andrew Gough

Sean AbrahamThere is a great golf course both here and in La Plata (10 miles
away).  Boating at Thousand Hills State Park is lots of fun.
–Sean Abraham

Erin KlattWe have taken weekend trips to the local wineries for tours, to film festivals in Columbia, and to local bluegrass festivals.
–Erin Klatt

Carl GiacchiAs a native of Missouri, I can attest that we have excellent,
accessible state parks in the area and all over the state.
–Carl Giacchi

Sheila KrishnanColumbia makes for a nice day trip.  My friends and I make a full day of it by studying during the day, grabbing a good dinner, and then checking out the night life.  It’s a great mini-break from school.
–Sheila Krishnan

Nate CleaverIt is a great opportunity to attend professional sporting events
with Kansas City and St. Louis only a few hours away.
–Nate Cleaver
