Tuition

Tuition for the Transitional DPT program is $7,300 for the entire program during the 2006/07 year. The tuition for this program is normally due four weeks before the instruction begins, unless the student is accepted late.

Payment Plan

Payment plans are available for the cost of tuition. Payments include the tuition cost plus a $175 service fee. Below are two examples of students utilizing the payment plan to pay for their tuition.

Robin wants to start the transitional PT program in the summer quarter of 2006, which begins June 12th, 2006. She cannot pay the full balance and wants to avoid private loans, so she opts for the payment plan.

Robin's payments would be as follows:

1) Due May 15th, 2006- Tuition payment of $1825 plus $175 service fee = $2000

2) Due August 15th, 2006- Tuition payment of $1825

3) Due November 15th, 2006-Tuition payment of $1825

4) Due February 15th, 2007- Tuition payment of $1825

Robin's total tuition payments would add up to $7475-which is the tuition of $7300 + $175 service fee.

For another example, let's say that Carlos wants to start in the spring quarter of 2007, which begins March 13, 2007. Carlos decides he too wants the payment plan as an option.

So, his payments would be as follows:

1) Due February 15th, 2007- Tuition payment of $1825 plus $175 service fee = $2000

2) Due May 15th, 2007- Tuition payment of $1825

3) Due August 15th, 2007- Tuition payment of $1825

4) Due November 15th, 2007-Tuition payment of $1825

Again, payment total amounts to $7475, which is the tuition of $7300 plus the $175 service fee.

Loans

Since the program is linear in nature and has modules, none of the students enrolled are considered half-time. Therefore, no Transitional DPT student is eligible for any federal loans.

Students that will need student loans may be eligible for the Comprehensive Access Loan (CAL), available through the Access Group. Go to www.accessgroup.org or call 1-800-282-1550 for more information.

Direct Deposit

Many banks outside of Missouri make students wait 10 business days to tap their loan funds when deposited by check. Therefore, we require that all students use direct deposit where ATSU wires money to the student's checking account. This way, the money is available on the day it is wired to the bank.
