No this is not the correct answer. This organism causes a
chronic pneumonia. This dimorphic fungus (yeast cell at 37oC
and mycelial phase at room temperature) would result in yeast
cells being in the sputum specimen. This fungus is endemic in the Ohio
and Mississippi River Valleys. Bob is in the right place however symptoms
don't match this type of pneumonia.
