Tuition Refund Policy for Transitional DPT (Distance Education Students)

  • If a student withdraws from the program prior to ever logging on to a module, she/he is entitled to a refund.  However, $250 (pre-matriculation fee) will be withheld from the amount paid.
  • If the student logs on to the first module and requests to withdraw prior to completing the first moduls, she/he is still entitled to a tuition refund.  However, $500 ($250 pre-matriculation + $250 matriculation fee) will be withheld.
  • Once a student has completed the first module, she/he is not eligible for any tuition refund. 

Tuition Refund Policy for Non-degree (courses Paid Per Credit Hour)

Students may withdraw from class at any time prior to or during the course.  If a student drops a course before the quarter begins, they will receive a 100% tuition refund less a $60 administrative fee and the dropped course will not reflect on the transcript.  If the course is dropped on the:

7th  - 9th calendar day of the course

10th calendar day of the course or thereafter

No refund and grade of “W”

If a student fails to officially withdraw, a “F” will be given for the course.  Withdrawals will be permitted after the 5th week of class only for extraordinary circumstances, on a student by student basis and must be approved by the course director.  A student’ non-participation does not constitute an official withdrawal from the course. If a withdrawal is approved, the transcript will reflect a grade of "W".  Students withdrawing from the course within the last 14 days of the end of the course will receive the grade earned at the time of withdrawal.  If the student fails to officially withdraw, they will receive an “F” for the course.
