Graduation Orientation & Class Photo - Mandatory

When: Wednesday, June 10th 2:00 pm - 2:45pm
Where: Main Building, Saguaro B


Financial Aid Exit Interviews - Mandatory for all students who took out Financial Aid.

When: Wednesday, June 10th, 2:45pm - 4:30pm

Awards Brunch - Thursday June 10, 2010 & Founder's Ball - Thursday June 10, 2010

Awards Brunch –  

9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Registration
9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Brunch Buffet served
10:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Awards Presentation and Photos

Dress is business casual (no denim)

Each student will be allowed to bring 4 guests with them at no charge.

6:30 p.m. – Class photo on main staircase

Dress is black tie/formal

Graduation Ceremony –   Mesa Arts Center, Ikeda Theatre

                                                1 East Main Street

                                                Mesa, AZ 85211

9:30 a.m. – Graduates Check-in and line up on 2nd floor, doors open to Ikeda Theatre

9:45 a.m. – Stage Party line up for Processional on 2nd floor balcony

10:00 a.m. – Ceremony begins

11:30 p.m. – Ceremony ends, graduates are excused


Reader Card

• All graduates MUST bring a Reader Card to graduation.
• PRINT LEGIBLY!!!! The Readers must be able to read this.
• You will hand this card to the Reader on stage during the hooding ceremony.


Financial Aid Exit Program

Mandatory for all graduates who used financial aid.

When: Wednesday, June 10th, 2:45pm-4:30pm
Where: Main Building, Saguaro B.


Tickets

A maximum of 25 tickets can be issued to each student. Beginning May 7, tickets may be picked up from the Office of Student Services.


Guest Hooders

Individuals meeting the following criteria may apply to be a guest hooder during graduation: Graduate’s parent or grandparent with a terminal degree (i.e. Ph.D., Ed.D. Au.D. D.P.T., etc. or degree being conferred). 

Requests for guest hooders must be submitted 30 days before the date of graduation. Late requests will not be accepted.

Graduation Requirements

Per the ATSU Catalog all graduates, residential and distance, are required to attend one of the annual ATSU commencement ceremonies in Mesa, Arizona.


Petition to Graduate

All students of the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health must complete a Petition to Graduate no later than the first week of the quarter in which they will complete all coursework. This will begin the process of degree audits and ordering of diplomas.


Diplomas

Diplomas will be ordered after all grades are received at the end of an academic quarter/semester.  It will take approximately 10-12 weeks after you graduate to receive your diploma.

In order to ensure that your diploma is sent to the correct address, we ask that you provide the correct address when you submit the Petition to Graduate form.

Contact the Registrar if you have any questions concerning your diploma.


Transcripts

Official transcripts can be ordered from the registrar.  The form is online at: http://www.atsu.edu/registrar/forms.htm  Please note that if you need proof of your degree for licensure or employment you can request a letter of verification along with an official transcript from the registrar’s office.
