About the Institute and ATSU Audiology

AFA Balance & Hearing Institute

The AFA Balance & Hearing Institute located in Mesa, Ariz., officially opened its doors in January 2013. The AFA Institute was made possible by a generous donation from the Audiology Foundation of America (AFA) and other supporting partners. Unlike most private practice or retail franchises, the AFA facility is part of a university teaching institution, the Arizona School of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University.

The AFA Institute offers a full range of hearing and balance care for patients of all ages. In fact, our knowledge and experience actually allows us to offer more services to you than many other facilities. Our services include but are not limited to:

Our providers are university faculty members working with student doctors of audiology. All student doctors are supervised by licensed audiologists so you can be confident that you will receive the highest quality care using the latest technologies and in a friendly and compassionate environment.
